The weather outside may be frightful, but you can still look delightful! Here are some fun Winter makeup trends that will make you the star of any party this season.
Festive Lips
Red lips are the perfect accessory to any holiday party, as petite celebrity 5’2’’ Kim Kardashian (pick below), a frequent red lip-wearer, knows. Not only does the red make any outfit pop, but it’s also the color of the season!
To make your look shine a little brighter, apply red lipstick and then dab on some red glitter or gold eye shadow onto your lips for a multi-dimensional and sparkly pout.
A simple little black dress (LBD) will be the perfect complement
to your show-stopping face/
Frosty the Snowwoman
As Mother Nature dabs frost onto all the trees outside, go ahead and do the same on your face! A light blue or sparkly gray eye shadow goes well with a light pink lip and blush.
The colors are light, so they will probably show up best on fairer skin tones, similar to Nashville star 5’0’’ Hayden Panettiere’s skin. Although we think that women should give this trend a try. It’s an icy look that keeps you looking hot and metallics are magical!
Take a cue from the famous Christmas carol “Silver and Gold” and theme your look to the pretty shades. A gold shadow really makes a statement and looks great on blue eyes.
On the other hand, a silver eye is soft and demure and contrasts nicely with hazel eyes, like 5’0’’ Jada Pinkett Smith’s. Match your shadow to your nails and you’ve got a beauty look that is wonderfully seasonal. Try out on of these festive trends and go dashing through the snow, stylishly of course!
