Petite celebrities rocked the purple carpet at the 2011 Council of Fashion Designers of America Fashion Awards (CFDA) on Monday, June 6 held at the Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center in New York City.

There were many fashionably petite celebrities in attendance; Lady Gaga, Olsen Twins, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Ashley Greene and many more!

The 5’1″ pop icon Lady Gaga was presented with the prestigious CFDA Fashion Icon award.  During the ceremony she told the crowd, “I tried to bring a rat with me, as a tribute to New York City, but they wouldn’t let [him] in.”  Who knows if she was actually serious, but one must believe that based on her track record this was likely true!
