Oscar’s Academy Awards is film and fashion’s grandest night! Bella Petite Magazine brings you the best and worst dressed petite celebrities on the red carpet…
BEST: 5’3″ MICHELLE WILLIAMS– The My Week with Marilyn star glowed on the Academy Awards red carpet in a deep coral Louis Vuitton design accessorized with a Fred Leighton for Forevermark necklace and a blush Bottega Veneta minaudiere
BEST: 5’3″ ROONEY MARA – The Girl With The Dragon Tatto star Rooney Mara oozed hollywood glamour in a white Givenchy – definitely one of the night’s best dressed.
BEST: 5’3″ JENNIFER LOPEZ – Wow! J.Lo is back, and she is flaunting it! She presented with Cameron Diaz in a plunging Zuhair Murad gown with cut-out sleeves.
BEST: 5’2″ NATALIE PORTMAN – Oscar winner Natalie Portman shows off her vintage side in a polka-dotted vintage Haute Couture Christian Dior frock from 1954.
BEST: 5’4″ ELLIE KEMPER Bridesmaids’ funny woman is glowing in this reddish-gold Armani Prive gown encrusted in scarlet, yellow and orange square pailletes.
BEST: 5’2″ KATE MARA – Rooney’s sister Kate Mara is ethereal in a glittering beaded frock.
BEST: 5’2:” Octavia Spencer – The Help star looked wonderful in this perfectly draped Tadashi Shoji beaded white gown which nicely accentuated her full figure curves as she accepted her Best Supporting actress Oscar!
WORST: 5’3″ PENELOPE CRUZ – Cruz’s lavish princess gown would have worked three years ago, but with this year’s designers tending towards more form-fitting trends, the Spanish-born actress’ custom Armani number looks out of date.
WORST: 5’0″ SARAH HYLAND – ‘Modern Family’ star Sarah Hyland looks boring in a dowdy mauve number by Alberta Feretti.
WORST: 5’4″ SANDRA BULLOCK – The Oscar-winning actress makes a fashion faux paw in this oddly proportioned Marchesa number.
WORST: 5’4″ VIOLA DAVIS – For all the wrong reasons all eyes were on Viola in this bright green Vera Wang gown with over-the-top cleavage.
WORST: 5’4″ ANNA FARIS – Anna Faris looks like she’s been vacuum-packed into a black sequined body bag.
WORST: 5’1″ KELLY OSBOURNE – Ozzy’s spawn looks tacky in a sequined black Badgley Mischka gown.
