Recent statistics show chlamydia amongst teens and young women ages 15-25 are rising. This age group reportedly has the highest number of cases over the last few years. And think about this 1 in 4 women have herpes, while 1 in 5 men have herpes, which essentially means 50+million people have this virus and 85% of people don’t even know it.

For example, in 2000, there were 900 cases of syphilis in that age group. By 2010, the number almost tripled. Older women are starting relationships, but they may not be thinking about using protection.

Therefore ladies, it is imperative to always ask your partner to wear a condom.
