A Role Model

Ann Lauren is an inspiring role model for inner-city underprivileged kids. Her unique brand of compassionate style and leadership abilities helped the kids obtain scholarship funds for college. NBA Star all-forward Laker Happy Hairstons’ Youth Foundation appointed her as Director of Public Relations for the youth foundation sponsored by the prestigious Celebrity Golf Tournaments. The charitable organization events exposed Lauren to the; prolific faces of golf, former presidents, business tycoons, sports stars, Olympic athletes, and iconic musicians and celebrities.

During the late ’90s, Ann Lauren’s entrepreneurial internet influence began in Business Development for Netcity.com. The first online electronic metropolis where she worked with companies Trizec-Hahn, Disney, ESPN, and Sportsline USA. In 1997 Lauren raised over two million dollars in capital funding to develop the WildNetwork.com Internet Portal. The startup’s, flagship WildEmail.com, featured seventy-five “WILD” subdomain categories. WildEmail.com was the first internet Vanity email provider on the internet.

Ann Lauren’s trendsetting influenced internet magazine publishing. In 2009, she lead the digital media revolution with the launch of Bella Petite Magazine the first live-streaming digital multimedia complex. It is the only significant source of fashion, entertainment, beauty, and lifestyle media-rich original content, for petite female consumers (5’7″ and shorter). The disruptive magazine is the first multimedia publication of its kind in digital and print globally.

Ann Lauren is a role model mentor for young girls and women helping build their confidence through healthy self-imagery by providing opportunities not available to them in the modeling, fashion, and beauty industries. She produces the only worldwide model search for models shorter than the 5’9″ and taller industry-standard height requirement. The selected models appear on her magazine’s covers and in featured editorials.

Bella Petite Magazine’s first cover girl is Sundai Love (5’2″). She’s a former Tyra Banks America’s Next Top Model cycle 13, top-five runner-up on the “Shorty” edition. Love is the only model to appear on multiple magazine covers.

In 2019, Ann Lauren became the lead fashion designer of her signature media and fashion brands. During the 2020-2021 pandemic, she disrupted fashion with the first 100% on-demand designer brand for petite women.

The clothing is scaled using petite and middle-height models.

The brand does not use 5’9″ and taller models for editorial campaigns or catalogs. Consumers can identify with how the clothing will look on them.

Life and Education

Ann Lauren, a native Californian, grew up in Orange County, CA, with her parents, that are now deceased. In elementary school, Lauren excelled, earning top honors and becoming a member of California’s Gate Program “Mentally Gifted Minors” (MGM). Consequently, two years ahead of her classmates by age 16, she graduated from Irvine High School. She enrolled in California State University, Fullerton Department of Radio-Television-Film Department, earning a B.A. in Radio, Television, Digital Marketing, Public Relations, and Business Administration.

Ann Lauren met musician and prominent lawyer Ronald Brian Kalfus, ESQ, in Palm Springs, California, in 2000. The couple had a short engagement and married on December 10, 2000, at the J.W. Marriott Springs Resort and Spa. Purportedly, her husband tragically passed away on August 6, 2011. At that time, she was pregnant with the couple’s first child, Brian Lauren Kalfuss, who died, shortly after birth.

Ann Lauren is not married. She has been spotted in Hollywood on the red carpet with actor Tom Welling and at Naomi Watts Bvlgari Oscars party with Tom Welling, an American actor, director, producer, and model best known for his role as Clark Kent in ‘The WB/CW superhero drama Smallville.’
