I LOVE MY BODY
When I work with people, as a lifestyle coach and yoga teacher, I often remind my clients that loving yourself is the first step toward creating the life of your dreams.
If you don’t love yourself, how can you expect others to love you completely?
Here are 5 sure-fire techniques to create a loving relationship with your body, whatever its shape or condition.
2). Get plenty of rest each night. When you sleep a minimum of 8 hours each night, your mind and body get the healing and restoration it needs to feel and look its best. It is during sleep that you restore natural serotonin the happiness hormones. Sleep also refreshes your mind and can be a time to heal muscle fibers from long or vigorous workouts. Statistics show that sleeping 8+ hours per night is linked to longevity and a more youthful appearance as well!
3). Eat fresh fruits and veggies every day. Raw or slightly steamed, fresh fruits and veggies are the perfect foods to provide fiber, water, minerals, and nutrients to nourish your cells. This will, in turn, allow your body to let go of excess fats, stored water weight, and toxins. The balanced nutrients will enable you to experience proper digestion and elimination, a large key factor in feeling and looking your best!
Just meditate at least once per day on the gifts you do have and know that people see your inner light shine through in your eyes and smile. They do not see all of your imperfections. So stop focusing on them. You are perfect as you are!
5). Let your inner light shine brightly in your eyes and smile. This is the key. True radiance always comes from within. Radiance is the expression of light that comes from a happy heart and a balanced mind. When you feel confident, it shows and it will magnetize all good things to you. So meditate on love, compassion and allow the inner joy to light up the world through your beautiful eyes!
