The Break-Up! By Love-A-Licious Part One

Relationships don’t always turn out the way we hoped for them to be. No one goes into a relationship expecting a low survival rate, nor a relationship doom before it even gets out of the starting gate. But unfortunately it does happen and it happens a lot. No matter if you are rich or poor, female or male, short or tall, etc. you will eventually at some point in your life, experience the break-up.

Yes the dreaded B-word and some feel that this B-word is connected to the R-word Rejection. Due to this feeling, it is difficult for some to handle a break-up as a break-thru in the relationship. Now as bad as this may seem or feel, I feel that despite the pain and heart-ache of losing that significant person in your life, I want you to stop and consider the good side of a break-up.

Realizing that this may sound incredibly foolish to you, and you feel you have the right to drown yourself in sorrows while pondering all sorts of crazy things, headed for the therapist couch. Freeze! I won’t let you lose touch with yourself over a situation or circumstance that maybe absolutely the best thing for you in the long run. So let’s shift our direction off your pain and agony over losing the love of your life for a moment and look at things in reality and full transparency.

First thing to take note of is that men and women seem to handle break-ups distinctively different. Women appear to be more emotional, and men seem to appear more brazen, and complacent while maintaining a presence of aloofness. These are both coping mechanism used to deal with the emotional pain and stress of the break-up, neither are necessarily wrong. Everyone’s level of emotions and feelings are different, so don’t feel as if the other is not as emotional over the break-up as you are, because they are not spinning around in circles and losing themselves in sorrow. They may have just as much feeling, but express it differently.

When two people are soul mates, and rightly fitted, nothing can come between them. There is an emotional tie, soul tie that seems to link them together. They are able to weather the storms and overcome adversities and life’s challenges no matter how difficult because of the depth of love they have for one another. Unfortunately, some people mistake ordinary love for this most coveted prized love that comes from true heart and soul.

It takes time to create this type of meshing, but it’s a natural occurrence when its real love. It’s not forced or coerced, it’s free flowing love. It is very easy sometimes in the beginning to also misinterpret lust for love as well, which could lead to enormous problems.

When it comes to breaking up, there are a myriad of reasons for a break-up. Just as easy as two people fall in love, they can fall out of love. It’s like dancing, one minute you’re on your feet, moving in rhythm and beat, and then suddenly someone has either changed the song, or the beat is off, plainly stated the music has stopped-thus resulting in a slow exit off the dance floor.  The Break-Up Part 2
