The Somali supermodel Iman (age 57), as an entrepreneur is best known for her ethnic cosmetics line “Iman Cosmetics” which launched in 1994 and her HSN Global Chic clothing line.  Iman also authored the bestselling book, “I Am Iman,” which brings positive messages of self-esteem and empowerment to women.  She is also actively involved in a number of humanitarian organizations supporting children around the world, including “Save the Children” and the “Keep a Child Alive” program.  She has also been active in raising awareness for relief efforts in East Africa.
